A guide to style and good tailoring

Hi welcome to my own unique perspective on what constitutes style and individualism. The vast majority of the photos are taken using a mobile phone camera and I have no make up on.......

I'm in my late 30's and I'm also a widow which probably explains why I look so god damn hot in black, well that and being an ivory skinned pale red head! It also documents my wardrobe, so many people seem fascinated by my clothes and compliment me for how I look wearing them.

It is one woman's campaign against Jeans, Tracksuits and Ugg Boots!

More importantly it's about altering your view on life and trying to do the right thing even though it isn't always the easiest.

This blog is a story in taking pride in yourself and not letting yourself go, or settling for second best because you know what girls? No one really is better than someone if they don't treat you like a Queen................

Dancing dragons

How exciting it is Chinese New Year! I love to watch the Dragon Dance. I adore dancing and if I am feeling sad or want a guaranteed way of feeling better I just put on some music and start dancing. If I get stressed I dance, if I am happy I dance! In fact I am a bit like the French with Champagne when it comes to dancing, any excuse with do!

So dancing is cool, you throw in a dancing dragon and then this is as good as it gets because Dragons are uber cool! I have a thing for dragons which goes back to childhood, my Dad invented a Dragon to keep me safe in the dark when I was a little girl. I guess I "bonded" with Dragons - so wow two of my favourite D words! Dancing and Dragons...........How cool that I get to throw in the 3rd with Dress :)

I will confess that if I see a dragon print then it is ridiculously hard for me to resist. We all have our weaknesses mine is dragons!

I fell in lust with this dress the moment I saw it, it has everything. A beautiful  bright blue rouched peasant top with is fantastically flattering to the bust and the decolette. Flowing into a fitted empire line pencil skirt with a dragon print. The dragons are beautiful and the print is really exquisite. This dress is a beautiful fit making the most of your curves and derriere.

What a fantastic outfit to do my own little dragon dance in, I am not sure belly dancing is entirely in keeping with Chinese tradition, but sometimes it is about putting your own little twist on things!

Have a fantastic Chinese New Year!
