A guide to style and good tailoring

Hi welcome to my own unique perspective on what constitutes style and individualism. The vast majority of the photos are taken using a mobile phone camera and I have no make up on.......

I'm in my late 30's and I'm also a widow which probably explains why I look so god damn hot in black, well that and being an ivory skinned pale red head! It also documents my wardrobe, so many people seem fascinated by my clothes and compliment me for how I look wearing them.

It is one woman's campaign against Jeans, Tracksuits and Ugg Boots!

More importantly it's about altering your view on life and trying to do the right thing even though it isn't always the easiest.

This blog is a story in taking pride in yourself and not letting yourself go, or settling for second best because you know what girls? No one really is better than someone if they don't treat you like a Queen................

A fool's paradise is a wise man's hell!

A fool's paradise is based on false hope, and trust me that is the worst kind of hope there is! I know I am the mistress of belief in Pandora's Box, sometimes the hope that tomorrow will be a better is all we have. I spent along time chanting that mantra over the last few years personally and professionally.

Fortunately it hasn't been a fool's paradise, but we did have moments of hell on earth. Still that's what builds a team ;)

It has been a long time since my efforts at work have felt so appreciated; it was nice to be able to stand my team down early Wednesday afternoon and tell them all to go home and sleep and that I would see them all at 13:00 today. I've worked places where the attitude is : Finish the project. We will buy you a new family!

Profanity is the one language all programmers know best.

A red-eyed, mumbling mammal capable of conversing with inanimate objects

So it's a wise woman's paradise today, a moment when my mind can rest with a well deserved lie in. It is that pause before you shout "NEXT!" and get your keyboard at the ready! Bring it on! It is a precious short lived moment when you get to enjoy what you delivered, after all in IT you are only as good as your last delivery, and I get my next krypton factor challenge this afternoon.
