A guide to style and good tailoring

Hi welcome to my own unique perspective on what constitutes style and individualism. The vast majority of the photos are taken using a mobile phone camera and I have no make up on.......

I'm in my late 30's and I'm also a widow which probably explains why I look so god damn hot in black, well that and being an ivory skinned pale red head! It also documents my wardrobe, so many people seem fascinated by my clothes and compliment me for how I look wearing them.

It is one woman's campaign against Jeans, Tracksuits and Ugg Boots!

More importantly it's about altering your view on life and trying to do the right thing even though it isn't always the easiest.

This blog is a story in taking pride in yourself and not letting yourself go, or settling for second best because you know what girls? No one really is better than someone if they don't treat you like a Queen................

Github.........Hardcore forking action ahead

WOO HOO. My first software release is under my belt in my role, and it went fantastically well - My boys got a round of applause. We had a good laugh as only techies can.

One of the things I love about IT are the things that you get to say :)

Promiscuous packet sniffing - I want to know what data you are sending over my network where it came from and where it's going, and whether it's been altered

Penetration Testing -  Where am I vulnerable to compromise and attack?

Hardcore Forking Action - similar to copying a code base, but not quite

and the classic

"Did you just finger me?" (look up the unix command)

And they say techies don't have a sense of humour! LOL

Drag me! Drop me! Treat me like an object!  (OLE and OOP at their best)

But the real reason we love to be geeks is because this is our day:
unzip, strip, touch, finger, grep, mount, fsck, more, fsck, fsck, fsck, umount, sleep.

All of which reminded me of a Mae West quote.

Today's dress is named after the infamous aforementioned quote, the buttons make this dress so interesting and so difficult to photograph!

I like the piping around the Peter Pan style collar and the detailing on the sleeves. The buttons snake down in a curve and end in a pleat which is just lovely.
